I was hoping someone may be able to shed some light on my situation, or might have had the same trouble. I have had a look throught e forum but not come up with anything.

I have installed eform and all is working correctly...well almost. The addresses assinged do not get the mail, I have checked and double checked the spellings, then pasted them into my e-mail client and sent a test mail which gets there ok, I have replaced the addresses with my address and I get the form results OK.

I know the addresses are correct they do receive mail but not the form results. Does anyone know of this happening?

How is your e-mail client set-up? If it uses SMTP you will probably have to pass more parameters to eform to set the mail up as previous posters have suggested, in any case check your error and mail logs for signs of trouble.

will give that a go, seems odd though, most other problems seemed to stem from being unable to send to domain outside of own domain. I am trying to send mail to me@mydomain.co.uk and modx is hosted at mydomain.co.uk. It all works if I send to a mail on yourdomain,co.uk or yourdomain2.co.uk.

So, do you mean eform works if you use yourdomain2.co.uk but doesnt if you use mydomain.co.uk?

If so this is a mail setup feature on your host, your mail logs will tell you why the mail is rejected.

that is correct, I am trying to get the mail logs as we speak.

I will stop hunting and probably post back here later with the results if that is OK. Really appreciate your help shamblett.

Hi guys,

Since we have a dedicated forum for eForm discussions, kindly create a new topic for your issues.

I am not locking this topic though, but I am expecting if you read this message, start a new topic instead of adding your issue as a reply to this topic, it became pretty long and difficult to follow.

Thanks!
