Public SVN access to current 0.9.x trunk:

Access via the above URL requires an SVN client.  See the Subversion Links page for a good list of clients and plugins.  The links following however, can be accessed via a web browser.  I prefer the TracBrowser for online browsing, but WSVN has some very cool options like RSS feeds for any resource in the repository.

TracBrowser access to current 0.9.x trunk:

WSVN access to our entire repository

BTW, sorry if it's a little confusing in WSVN, but the main SVN module for 0.9.x development is called tattoo, not modx which you will find is currently empty.  The modx module will be the new home of MODx 1.0 when it is ready for public consumption.

A wonderful OS X SVN client for those of us so inclined. It doesn't get much easier.

Yeah well, I installed svnX, and set it up but I must confess though it should be easy there must be something wrong since it just hangs indefinitely.

I set up the repository path as instructed (http://svn1.cvsdude.com/rethrash/tattoo/tattoo/trunk), then the path of the local "Working Copies". I double click on the MODx repository and I get the repository browser window but that's it, it just hangs. I tried to set login and pass to "anonymous" instead of blank, but to no avail. I must have overlooked a very simple thing, but I don't know what ! It was working with TortoiseSVN / Windows, I had no problem Tongue

Would anyone care to enlighten me Huh ?

Sounds like a router breakdown b/n you and their server. It happens periodically. Also try accessing via https

Yes, you need to install SVN... I had the same problem and was mystified for several hours. Then I realized SVN is not installed by default with Mac OS X. Go on the SVNx page and they have a link to an optimized version.

Many thanks Mark, just saved me time here, so obvious I wouldn't have thought of it !
It's just strange that svnX has no error message for such cases Huh
Then again I should have read the requirements and not make any assumptions to begin with Tongue

Just a quick FYI:

We have now opened up branch development (http://svn1.cvsdude.com/rethrash/tattoo/tattoo/branches) of MODx in SVN to the public (read-only access, of course).  This is the first in a series of efforts to further streamline MODx development and contribution processes, by making them more transparent.

Currently, only the 0.9.6 branch is available, but once 0.9.6 is released, a new public branch for 0.9.7 will be made available for tracking progress on the next-generation MODx.  Until then, you can access the latest 0.9.6 branch at:
