This layout is my most often downloaded Theme for WordPress so I've ported it over to a ModX Template. I'm releasing it under the Creative Commons license free for Non-Commercial use with a linkback. It's a three column flexiwidth theme with fixed width flanking columns and a flexible width center column. It features toplevel navigation on the left, section navigation on the right, and breadcrumb navigation in the footer. I've also included some extras with complete instructions for setup. They're chunk/tv combos that allow you to add an image and/or text in the left column, and a pullquote with or without an image in the content column.
This theme has been tested extensively and found to work fine on w2k and xp in IE6, FireFox and Opera, on Safari, Firefox and IEMac on Mac, and on FireFox and Konqueror for Linux. It holds up pretty well to font and window resizing in all but really extreme cases. All code has been future proofed against the coming of IE7. It is released with no guarantees and no warrantees implied.
There is an extensive set of installation instructions included in the zip package. Please read it thoroughly before installation.
Please report any bugs or mistakes. I don't think there are any, but . . .
