I am having problems downloading this software.  Of all the CMS's I saw at www.opensourcecms.com, this one I liked the most.  However, whenever I attempt to download the latest version, it is a 0 byte file that has nothing in it.  Is this normal?  Or am I just having problems?

I just tested both the .zip and tar.gz downloads of 0.9.2.1 available at http://modxcms.com/download.html and didn't have problems.  Does this happen everytime you download?  If so, what browser and platform are you downloading it with?

I have attempted this using both Firefox (latest version) and Opera (latest release, not beta) on Windows 2000.  This is the only file I have attempted downloading that hasn't worked properly for me on this computer.

No problems here with Mac 10.3 and Stuffit with any of these files.

Well, I don't even need to worry about a file extraction utility yet, as the file itself, when it says my download has been completed is only 0 bytes in size.   Yes, I said that right, ZERO bytes in size.

If I had access to a Mac, I would try it from there, but I don't, so I can't.

I'm downloading these files just fine with Win XP and FireFox 1.5.0.1.  Can you provide more specifics as to why you are getting a 0 byte file?  What happens when you click the link.  And which file, zip or tar.gz?

As for specifics on why I am getting a 0 byte file, I am not sure.  That is what I am looking for help on.  This is also happening on both the .zip AND the .tar.gz file.  *looks for the laptop* Maybe it will work on that...

I have no idea why, but for some reason my firewall was blocking the download.  I managed to get the file, so all is well now.  Thanks for the patience though.

I don't know if it's connected to a firewall - but I am having problems downloading the newest release - it downloads 2,950kb - and then the connection is reset - happened several times with IE, FF and Safari - windows xp.

Would it be possible to get a straight link?
