hello,

i installed and have been running successfully, the Google SiteMap Snippet...

recently we added a bunch of pages via the SuperPage Module...

this made all those pages with a creation date of 1969 and without a user.
this was reflected in the SiteMap and causing the Google Webmaster Tools SiteMap to throw up Invalid Date Errors.

so i went in to the Modules -> Doc Manager -> Other Properties area and did a global change for all pages to have a corrected creation date and from me the admin user.

this successfully changed the creation date etc when viewing each page's overview info, but it made NO change to the SiteMap.

any ideas how i can get all those 1969's in the SiteMap to be what they actually are?
thanx.jason.

Hmm... it sounds like caching problem.
How about clearing modx and browser cache ?

The sitemap snippet seems to look at 'editedon' field, not 'createdon' field.

Did you try resubmitting the sitemap?

EUREKA!!!

I didn't even think about that, after what i read talking about the creation date (duh).

I did the same process, but this time edited the "Edited On Date", and it worked! (THANKS).

It shows up in the sitemap.xml file correctly now. I just resubmitted it to google and will post back after the pending is done with the results.

YES!!!
it all works now. google says it's fine too :-)

sorry for the time waster - i should have thought to try resetting all the modification dates as well as the creation dates first.

but thanks for the replies!!!
