I am looking for a webmail client with the following options:

  • Checking multiple mailboxes at a time, 4 at this moment!
  • Addressbook which can be synced with syncml (so that I can sync it with outlook and windows mobile)
  • Can be hosted on my own server with php
  • Translation files, since I am Dutch

I am looking for clients that are free or have a one time fee (or interesting upgrade plans!!) that is not higher then 200 euro (that's about 292.12 dollar at this time)
I use group-office (http://www.group-office.com) now, the pro edition... but they doubled their prices since they released a new version. I am just a simple person with a normal job and my own little company (as hobby) so I simply can't affort that.

Can someone help me with a killer webmail app??

You might be able to use this: http://www.funambol.com/ and a webmail client of your choice.  Another method I have been experimenting with is syncing things to gmail and using that as a poor mans exchange server.

I got carried away by the MODx spirit and ended up with a few templates to go with my website.

Server: Apache 2.2.9 | MySQL 5.0.67 Community | PHP 5.2.6 | Go MODx!

No one else with tips? I think I will have to stick with group-office and use the hosted edition instead, it is payable if I just use it with 1-2 users.

Are there some web 2.0 ready groupware scripts these days? The most groupware scripts are still not web 2.0 ready.

Ok, I have taken a look at Zimbra and I am impressed! So I moved over my mail to a hoster which could provide me a Zimbra account.
