Odd, I tested it in FF 1.5 and never saw this. http://modxdev.net/Greenery.html works just fine for me in both FF1.0.6, 1.5 and IE6

I think long names of the menu are the problem... maybe I have to change the CSS

P.S. how do you insert "submenus" in the site?

Its on the right side, dynamically appears if you have subdocuments via the SubDoc snippet included.

I've started making a TV for each sidebar for every  template that I make, and ripping out all the content from the sidebar and putting it in the TV.  So I'll have [*left*] and/or [*right*] to go along with [*content*]!

That way it's easy enough to change the TV if you want to change the default sidebar content, and you can customize the sidebar on a document-by-document basis as well.  Sometimes I even do this for top blocks, so headers and banners can be customized.  My "Valentine" variation on Greenery does this.

I'm minimizing the actual template as much as possible, keeping it down to just the basic layout and MODx tags for the content.

Quick question,...
The website I'm running is using a modified version of Greenery, see the link in my sig. How difficult do you all think it would be to port my current design over to MODx?

Piece of cake.  As far as the template goes, you could use either this one or my Valintine version (the layout is done a little differently, but not much).

By the way, it should be "Every pixel has its day".  The posessive does not have an apostrophe.  if it's the abbreviation of it is it does  Wink

Thanks for the quick reply (and grammer correction, I've always been poor at it), I think I'll give it a shot, I'm quite impressed with MODx.

I'm still a bit confused on the SubMenu build in the Greenery template.  if Submenu is called within a subfolder, it should give the children of the document that calls it as far as i can tell, but when I use the greenery template in a subfolder already within a folder, it still lists the children of the top folder in the submenu, not the children of the subfolder.

Perhaps my approach is wrong, but I am trying to generate a submenu for a category that is not meant to be listed globally in the level-1-delimited DropMenu in Greenery.  as the category is meant only to appear on the main index page, I made the main index page a fiolder and placed the category within it so that it only appears on the main index page within the submenu.  The only problem with this is that i cannot figure out a way to have the user go to the category and then see the children listed in the submenu.

Any advice, as I am a newbie and by no means expert in php, would be greatly appreciated.  Is it simply the case that I should make a seperate template for this page?  I've noticed that I can use DropMenu instead and set the startdocument to the subfolder and that works, but I don't know how to that up as a TV that would be globally applicable.

Hi, I have a problem with the FlexSearchForm in this template, because if I search something doesn't happen anything!
Thanks to all
