There's a lot of new things coming soon to MODx. The fact is we want to accomplish several goals with all the upcoming changes:

  • create a clear distinction between the different code bases
  • ease transition when individuals choose to migrate
  • help individuals gain a clearer picture of why they'd want to investing time and energy and resources into the MODx platform
  • createa better organized support and project marketing site
  • better documentation
  • better developer and contributor resources
  • more timely updates for code releases
  • a new logo that really fits

Up first, learn about the new names coming for the MODx project. Find out more about that on my blog: http://www.modxcms.com/the-evolution-of-a-revolution.html

MODx is a framework that allows web professionals to turn over sites to end-users for daily maintenance without worrying. Community participation and questions are encouraged, especially when you help us help you, read the wiki, and review snippet parameters – even if you have to look at the source. Searching the forums helps, too.
