Nice template, but it has some bugs in it Wink
Currently using the latest firefox.

When you click the visible/invisible button for the side menu/links, it works like a charm ifyou click the minimize and then maximize, and so on. If you click the minimize button twice or several times before you hit the maximize button, than later when you try to maximize it, you won't be able to do it. Other than that , the minimize/maximize button on the main news works perfect.

Good job though Wink

@zi:
Thanks Zi Smiley I'm still reading moo.fx documentation, seems very nice and light Wink
Scriptaculous it's included in modx package, I hope moo.fx should be in any future modx release Tongue

This template is free from Slide effects that cause crash in IE (although there is a little patch in portalx2 thread), than 100% 0.91 compatible....except the problem that wendy saids Cheesy

@wendy
Thanks You are My Bug Tracker  Grin Kiss
Tomorrow I will try to resolve the problem.

New updated version 1.1 with fix to wendy bug Cheesy
Now side menu/links effects seems working better.
If you click twice times the same button, for example the close botton, in the second times works like open button.
All buttons works open/close, than future templates will include a single button.

alchime,

That's one of the best thing about MODx. You don't have any specific templating tutorial, because there is no templating logic that you need to learn in MODx. Everything is so similar with static page.

When you try to install a template created by one of our artists in here, basically they got their own logic of templating that they apply it to MODx. So it is always depend on the template that you're choosing.

Here is a little tips on how to install somebody else templates:
Make sure whether they have an additional snippets, chunks, or template variables on their template, usually you can find it inside the template itself. For TV or page variables (informations that you enter when creating a new document, usually [*content*], [*pagetitle*], and etc) you will have tag that looks just like this [*tv_name*]. For snippets it will be something looks like this [[snippet_name]] or [!snippet_name!]. For chunks it will looks like this {{chunk_name}}. You go to your manager and visit the manage resources administration and make sure that you have all the required chunks, snippets, and Template variables on your resources, if not, usually the template had provide you with a content that you can put to create a new resources.

Hope it helps.

Hi in backinblack template you have 4 name-chunk.html files - you need only create 4 chunks with the same name  (without '-chunk.html' Wink ) and copy and paste the code.

-  only example-validate-chunk.html  chunk, you need to personalize it with your url and template path is (and will be validate chunk).

- upload assets directory in your modx root
- copy and paste backinblack-template.html in a new template
