I've seen it and it is very cool. Smiley

For those of you that want a little more descriptive version is that you choose a menu tree level then drag and drop to sort the orders. WAY better than doing the edit-change-save menu tree dance!

Nice! Nice! Nice!

This module closes my feature request #24 (http://modxcms.com/bugs/task/24Smiley Smiley Smiley

By the way, would it be possible to activate this module directly from the Site Tree? I am thinking, for example, on right-clicking a parent and choosing an option like "Re-arrange children" on the context-sensitive menu. Maybe with a plugin?

Anyway, thank you for this great module.

That does bring up a really good point... perhaps this should become a new menu in the manager instead of a module in the next release... any objecitions from anyone?

Shoof! I know what the problem is...I deleted that line of the JS because I didn't think I needed it anymore but apparently I do! I'll fix this when I get home... (I can't open zip files here???)

Minor bug: if you press "Go" without having selected the parent to sort, you get a "MODx Parse Error"

Feature request: it would be nice to have unpublished documents marked with a different color.

Cheers,
Luca

Code:
« MODx Parse Error »
MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
« Execution of a query to the database failed - You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'ORDER BY menuindex ASC' at line 1 »
SQL: SELECT id , pagetitle , parent , menuindex FROM `usr_web***`.modx_site_content WHERE parent = ORDER BY menuindex ASC

Did you press "Go" without having selected the parent?

 Embarrassed
i don't get it... i don't understand how to use this module.

I've copied the assets/modules/menuindex directory and i've created a new module, pasted the contents of menuindex.module.tpl into the text field and saved.

What now? I don't see any difference. Where's that stuff now? Would be a great tool, if I could only find it  Grin
