Hey there,

Just installed MaxiGallery 0.5.2 on my MODx 0.9.6 page. It's working, but the lightbox v2 does not seem to work.
My call:
Code:
[!MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`lightboxv2` &pics_per_row=`2` &max_thumb_size=`100` &max_pic_size=`950x680` &thumb_use_dropshadow=`1` &quality_pic=`90` &thumb_shadow_bgcolor=`FFFFFF`!]

If I upload some pics and then click on them, I don't receive the sweet lightbox effect, but just the image itself, without any effect.
The stange thing is, that the exact same call works on a different MODx page, just with MaxiGallery 0.5 and MODx 0.9.5.

So, could it be that this is some sort of bug, or (much more likely) that I've messed something up?
What reasons can there be?

Thanks for any help,
Simon

MODx 0.9.6 uses MooTools in quickedit where MODx 0.9.5 uses Scriptaculous..

Lightbox v2 uses Scriptaculous and Slimbox uses Mootools.

So in MODx 0.9.6, use slimbox. Lightbox v2 and Slimbox are identical to the end user.

okeys, thanks doze for the quick reply, works now
but unfortunatelly, another problem arose ...

If I upload one or more pics, I keep getting following error message:
Quote
« MODx Parse Error »
MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
« PHP Parse Error »

PHP error debug
Error:    chmod() [function.chmod]: No such file or directory
  Error type/ Nr.:    Warning - 2
  File:    /home/www/ncd291/html/simon/rw-interaktiv/assets/snippets/maxigallery/maxigallery.php
  Line:    372
  Line 372 source:    chmod($mg->path_to_gal.$name,0666);

Nevertheless, the pics get uploaded anyway. Only they are a lot smaller than they sould be ... don't know why.
Also, if I give the images titles and save them, it says "Changes saved" but all fields are empty again, it saves nothing.
CHMOD's are set right I think, gallerie's and subdictionaries got 777.
My call:
Code:
[!MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`slimbox` &pics_per_row=`3` &max_thumb_size=`60` &thumb_use_dropshadow=`1` &thumb_shadow_bgcolor=`FFFFFF` &css=`assets/snippets/maxigallery/templates_sim/default_sim.css` &galleryOuterTpl=`@FILE:assets/snippets/maxigallery/templates_sim/galleryoutertpl.html` &childgalleryPictureTpl=`@FILE:assets/snippets/maxigallery/templates_sim/childgallerytpl.html` &galleryPictureTpl=`@FILE:assets/snippets/maxigallery/templates_sim/gallerypicturetpl.html` &manageOuterTpl=`@FILE:assets/snippets/maxigallery/templates_sim/manageoutertpl.html` &managePictureTpl=`@FILE:assets/snippets/maxigallery/templates_sim/managepicturetpl.html` &manageUploadTpl=`@FILE:assets/snippets/maxigallery/templates_sim/manageuploadtpl.html` &pageNumberTpl=`@FILE:assets/snippets/maxigallery/templates_sim/pagenumbertpl.html` &pictureTpl=`@FILE:assets/snippets/maxigallery/templates_sim/picturetpl.html`!]

Thanks for any help!

Hmm.. could it be that the pictures that you try to upload are so big that they are hitting some max. setting on the server environment? For the second issue about POST data not saving.. I have no idea. First time I hear about such problem..

mh, damn it.

no, the pics are pretty small, 50 to 150 KB each ...
also the resulution is way smaller than the maximum size, so i don't know

any reasons why they are so small after upload?

MaxiGallery resizes the pictures by default to some size. See the max_pic_size, max_thumb_size and max_big_size parameters in MaxiGallery wiki. If you define 0 to the size, the pictures won't be resized.

okey, I think i solved it.

Indeed, max_big_size set to 0 worked. But I had to create a new document, there was something wrong with the old one, whatever.

Thanks a lot!
