NotParseMODXTags 1.0 | Author: MadeMyDay

Small plugin for not parsing MODx tags in <pre> blocks.

Download

Description

Sometimes you don¥t want to get MODx tags (like [ [snippet] ] for a snippet) get parsed, for documentation issues for example.

This plugin replaces the brackets "[","]","{","}" with ASCII Code so they will not get parsed. Usable with RTE, just mark your MODx tags as "predefined", so they will be displayed in a <pre> block. The brackets are styleable with span.bracket {color: green;} for example.

Of course also works with 0.96.

Instructions

Copy content of not_parse_modx_tags_plugin.txt in a new plugin, and set system events to "OnLoadWebDocument".

Style the brackets with the span class "bracket".
