Description
PHPIDS is a PHP based intrusion detection, to find out at a very early step about atacks to your website. This plugin is based on an article published by Heise Verlag: Getting started with the PHPIDS intrusion detection system http://www.h-online.com/security/Getting-started-with-the-PHPIDS-intrusion-detection-system--/features/113163 PHPIDS, available at www.php-ids.org and not part of this plugin, to avoid the use of old versions of PHPIDS.
Instructions
First download PHPDS (www.php-ids.org) from its homepage and load it up to your webspace. If you install PHPIDS into a public path, you should remove webaccess to the lib path, for example with the attached .htaccess file. In MODx go to the plugins, create a new one, copy the source of addon.PHPIDS.php into the Plugin Code. On Page "Configuration" add line 32 of the file into "Plugin configuration". On Page "System Events" check the entry OnWebPageInit.
