Description

Based on Fancy Upload by Harald Kirschner, 2007 http://digitarald.de/project/fancyupload/

This file upload could work with the FileDownload browse directories if you need it.

It can also send the data of the upload (uploaded file name, internalKey of the uploader...) for use in a event. I've used this to send a message on a forum using a custom defined event when upload is successful.

On the Harald Kirschner website, there are users complaining about the instable comportement of Firefox under Linux after an upload.
If you have problems, use the Upload Switcher I've also made, allowing you to choose either FileUpload or FancyUpload, depending on the REFERER of the client.

Instructions

See full instructions in the zip file.

1) upload the files on the folder assets/snippets/FancyUpload/
2) create a snippet named FancyUpload with the content of the file FancyUploadSnippet.php
3) create a chunk named FancyUploadChunk with the content of the file FancyUploadChunk.html
4) Make your snippet call as described in FancyUploadSnippet.php (important if your upload page is not public)

Mootools depedencies and snippet call parameters are explained in FancyUploadSnippet.php file.UpdatesBug fix : transparent proxy problem
