Description

TreasureChest is an integration for PayPal Website Payments Standard which allows you to have a catalog of items at your MODx site... it lets your visitors look around and add/remove items at any time without leaving your MODx site, then when they are ready to check out, they temporarily leave your site to have their payment processed securely at the PayPal website. If you want, your customers will be returned back to your site after their payment is complete.

This is a nice solution for smaller businesses or a small online presence that can't realistically justify the cost of a merchant account, payment gateway, SSL certificate, and a dedicated server for securely storing and processing payment info.

It is incredibly customizable through the use of CSS and MODx chunks.

Each item in your catalog is displayed using a MODx document, therefore you also get the freebie of the power of AJAX Search for letting your customers find exactly what they are looking for. Also, being MODx document based, you can use Ditto and it's powerful tag system to add "categories" to your products!

2. Run the Installer
3. Create a "Cart" document
4. Configure TreasureChest
